Cabinet Painting in a Kirkland Kitchen Remodel
A long galley kitchen finished with sprayed, factory-smooth warm-white cabinets, brush-mark-free across both runs and a floor-to-ceiling pantry, backed by our 10-year workmanship warranty.
As part of a Kirkland kitchen remodel, Hedlund Painting finished the cabinetry with a sprayed, factory-smooth warm-white coating that runs the length of a bright galley layout. Paired with gray quartz counters, subway tile, and stainless appliances, the brush-mark-free finish modernized the space and is backed by Hedlund's 10-year workmanship warranty.
The challenge
This is a long galley kitchen with runs of cabinetry on both walls, a tall pantry stack, gray quartz counters, and a light subway backsplash, opening into a brighter adjoining room. In a galley this narrow, every cabinet face is at eye level and close range, so the finish has to be flawless and perfectly consistent across a lot of linear cabinetry. The space needed a clean, uniform warm-white finish with no brush marks or sheen variation, durable enough for a high-traffic working kitchen.

What we did
- Disassemble and clean. Doors and drawer fronts came off and hardware was removed, then every surface was cleaned and degreased.
- Sand and prime. We sanded and primed per surface so the coating would bond and lay flat across every cabinet face.
- Protect and spray. We masked and protected the counters, the new flooring, appliances, and adjacent rooms, then sprayed the cabinet-grade coating for an even, factory-smooth result across both runs and the pantry tower.
- Cleanup and walkthrough. We did daily cleanup and secured gear throughout, then a superintendent walked the kitchen with the customer for QC and final approval.
The result
The finished galley is bright and clean from end to end. The warm-white cabinets are uniform with no visible brush marks across both long runs and the floor-to-ceiling pantry, and the sheen stays consistent under the recessed lighting. Against the gray quartz tops, subway tile, and stainless appliances, the cabinetry looks crisp and current, carrying the eye straight through to the lighter room beyond. A cohesive, factory-smooth finish that completes the remodel.
"I recently had Hedlund Painting paint the exterior of my home and I was so happy with the results and experience with that project that a month later, I decided to hire them again to paint my kitchen."
