Hedlund Painting is a Seattle-area residential and commercial painting company founded by owner Christopher Whitman. For 12 years we have served Lynnwood, Seattle, and the greater Eastside with interior, exterior, cabinet, multifamily, and commercial painting. We are licensed, bonded, insured, EPA Lead-Safe certified, BBB accredited, and a Best of Houzz winner. Every project is backed by a 10-year workmanship warranty and a written estimate.

Christopher Whitman started Hedlund Painting 12 years ago for two reasons. He wanted to build something of his own, and he wanted to create a workplace where the people who do the work feel safe and valued. Those two ideas are still the foundation of the company today.
That second part matters more than most companies will admit. A paint job is only as good as the crew standing on the ladder, and a crew does its best work when it is led well, paid fairly, and treated like it matters. So we built Hedlund around the people first. The result is a team that stays, that takes pride in the finish, and that treats your home the way they would want their own treated.
The craft followed naturally. Over 12 years we have painted historic craftsman homes, new construction, kitchen cabinets, condo communities, and commercial buildings across the Seattle area. We have learned that the difference between a good paint job and a great one is rarely the paint. It is the prep, the management, and the communication that surround it.

The finish you see is the result of the prep you do not. We sand, we prime per the surface, and we do the unglamorous work that makes paint last. We would rather do it right than do it fast.
